KINGSPATH SCIENTIST'S "EXTRAORDINARY" CONTRIBUTION

KINGSPATH SCIENTIST'S

Phillip Morgan, one of KingsPath’s Senior Clinical Scientists, has contributed to a new Department of Health publication, Extraordinary You – Science in Healthcare, profiling the careers of healthcare scientists throughout the UK, and designed to encourage scientific careers within the NHS.

As Phillip says, “This book really opens your eyes to the incredible diversity of healthcare science going on in the NHS today. Anyone who thinks that science is not happening in the NHS, or that it is boring, or that subject areas are limited, should take a look through this book.”

Phillip is a recipient of a Department of Health Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) Research Fellowship designed to lead to improvements in patient care. His research project is "The Investigation of automated methods for plasma drug assays: application of new technology based on CD-ROM/DVD technology with chromatographic analysis on silica microcolumns."

Extraordinary You is available to download from the Department of Health at:
