New prices for Haemoglobin variant & Thalassaemia analysis (Feb`07)
In response to user requests, the Red Cell Protein laboratory has recently reviewed its system of charging for Haemoglobin variant and Thalassaemia analysis.
The old single charge has now been replaced with an initial charge for the basic screen with two additional levels of charging depending on follow-up tests required.
Varying prices for Antenatal Screening, Sickle and Thalassaemia Screening and Haemoglobin variant identification reflect the nature of additional work performed. The basic screen includes HPLC analysis with HbA2 levels for beta thalassaemia identification and screening for haemoglobin variants.
